What your Classmates are up to.

Kelly (Howes) Willey just took her elementary schools to the CMEA rating festival. We think is may be a first for the PBVUSD in the Middle School Rating Festival. The kids from Williams/Berkshire advanced bands did a great job following instructions when getting to the stage warming up and performing (not an easy thing to do with 40 sixth graders). The kids represented their respective schools well bringing home an Excellent rating (II) and will recieve red metals to remember the experience.

Kelly has been teaching insturmental music in the PBVUSD for the past eight years after woking for Heratige School and Bakersfield City with a brief stop over at Taft High school. She has been playing professionally and teaching privately since graduating High school and holds two degrees from CSUB in Science and Fine Arts.
